The Ministry of Works and Transport is advising the public that there will be a temporary closure of the Edinburgh 500 Bailey Bridge, Edinburgh - Montrose Connector Road, Chaguanas, on Tuesday (27th February 2024), between the hours of 9:30 AM - 1:00 PM. This has become necessary in order to facilitate maintenance works to the Bailey Bridge.
During this period, the Ministry notes the bridge will be CLOSED to all vehicular traffic. As such, the public is advised to utilize La Clave Street, the Caparo Valley Brasso Road and the Southern Main Road, as an alternative access route during the period. The Ministry said it regrets any inconvenience caused and thanks the public for its continued co-operation.
