Cardi B released her latest music video for her track ‘WAP’ featuring Megan Thee Stallion on 7th August 2020 and fans were shocked to see a cameo by none other than (Billionaire?) Kylie Jenner. She did not contribute to the track. In fact, all she did in the music video was some sultry walking in silence. Literally, they stopped the music so she can walk. The music video has amassed over 50 Million views in 48 hours and is currently #2 Trending on YouTube. Cardi is being trashed over Kylie's 20-second cameo, with her fans saying she shouldn't be in the video because of her and her family's history of appropriating Black culture. Fans even got a petition underway to remove her from the official video, and one fan even made a Jenner-free edit themselves in the meantime. However, Cardi isn't paying it much attention and says it was important for her to have “powerful and influential” women of “different races and [who] come from different backgrounds.” See the controversial Official Music Video below and let us know your thoughts in the comments.
