Prime Minister Keith Rowley announced at a Press Conference yesterday (Saturday 9th April 2020) that all restaurants and food establishments can re-open from Monday 11th May 2020 once there is no in-store dining. Take-out, curbside pick-up and deliveries are allowed.
Many Trini KFC fans rejoiced and drooled at the idea of being able to soon taste their finger-licking chicken once again. You’ll recall the chaos with long lines to enter KFC branches and their drive-thrus several weeks ago when it was announced they would have to close operations completely. Well KFC is well-aware of the high pent-up demand and is fueling that fire by going live on Facebook to countdown the hours until they re-open - with over a hundred people locked on and staring at their screens.
